Spring has a way of keeping us on our toes. One day the sun is shining and the Terrace is calling your name, and the next brings cool breezes or a cozy rain shower that makes you want to settle in by the fire. No matter what the forecast brings, there’s always a perfect place, and a perfect dish, to match the moment at The Farmer’s Daughter.

Best Enjoyed on the Terrace
When the sun is out and the air feels fresh, the Terrace is the place to be. These lighter, vibrant dishes pair perfectly with an afternoon breeze and a refreshing drink. Whether you join us for lunch in the sunshine, dinner as the sun sets, or a relaxed happy hour in between, we’ll be ready to serve you on the Terrace.
Nestled behind the white walls of Normandy Farm, the Terrace offers a setting that feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle, creating a space that feels both elevated and inviting.
The Green Goddess Hummus is a great dish for sharing; made with basil, garlic, toasted pistachios, sesame seeds, and lemon oil, served with yucca chips.
The Pickled Beet Salad is colorful, tangy, and full of fresh seasonal flavor, featuring orange segments, baby arugula, fried goat cheese, macadamia nuts, and a hibiscus glaze.
The Greek Flatbread layers bright, fresh flavors on a warm, crispy flatbread with tomatoes, olives, red onions, arugula, pine nuts, and feta, finished with an herb vinaigrette.

Best by the Fire
On cooler days, there’s nothing better than cozying up near the fire with something comforting while still enjoying the outdoors. The Terrace firepit invites you to relax in a rocking chair while ordering food and drinks from the bar.
We suggest a classic shareable like the Warm Pretzels. Soft, salty, and perfect for unwinding.
For something a bit more elevated, the Fried Calamari is light, crispy, and served with cherry pepper aioli and fennel pollen for a flavorful finish.
Best at the Bar with a Cocktail
Pull up a seat at the bar, order your favorite cocktail, and enjoy dishes made for lingering conversations.
The Honey Whipped Ricotta is smooth with just a touch of sweetness, paired with arugula, prosciutto, and house-made sourdough.

And while “girl dinner” is sure to make a comeback this summer, for now the Crispy Chicken Caesar Panini delivers all the satisfaction, with crisp romaine, parmesan Reggiano, bacon, pickle relish, and Caesar dressing on fresh ciabatta.

Best for a Rainy Day in the Main Dining Room
When the rain starts falling, the cozy charm of the main dining room becomes the perfect escape.
The Crab & Corn Chowder is warm, creamy, and comforting with a hint of coastal flavor.
For something more hearty, the Seafood Pasta brings together rock shrimp, mussels, spring vegetables, lemon pesto, and parmesan Reggiano over bucatini.

Perfect Anywhere
While every dish can be enjoyed anywhere, a few favorites stand out.
The 12-Hour Braised Short Rib remains a staple, served this season with braised leeks and celery root purée.

Gert’s Crab Cake, a treasured family recipe, appears throughout the menu. Enjoy it as a sandwich at lunch, as an entrée at dinner with cherry pepper aioli, arugula salad, and honey lemon vinaigrette, or as an appetizer for a smaller bite.
No matter if the day calls for sunshine on the terrace, a cozy seat by the fire, or a relaxed evening in the dining room, our menu is ready to match the mood. After all, the best way to experience the season is one delicious bite at a time.
